Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has officially announced his retirement. In a post on his Twitter Page, Ben Roethlisberger thanked his family and the Steelers staff past and present for their help along his 18-year career.

During his career, he guided the Steelers to three Super Bowls and two Lombardi trophies, and was named to the pro bowl six times. He ends his career with several records, including the most passing yards and most touchdown passes in franchise history, seventh all-time in NFL passing yards, fourth highest career winning percentage as a starter in the regular season, and is one of six NFL Quarterbacks to have beaten every team in the league at least once.
Roethlisberger said that he is going to devote his retirement to “being all he can be to his wife and children.”
