Congratulations to several Indiana County high school athletes who signed their letters of intent to play at the collegiate level yesterday. River Valley’s Ava Persichetti committed to play basketball at Richmond, while Lily Buckles will play softball at Pitt-Greensburg.
Penns Manor’s Alex Polenik committed to Bucknell to continue his track and field career. He will participate in discus and shot put. Indiana’s Mark Collinger and Ryan Okopal both signed to play baseball at Mercyhurst and Maggie Cunningham committed to play softball at UNC Pembroke.
