IUP men’s basketball junior guard Dante Lombardi has been named the PSAC West Co-Player of the Week. In two games last week, Lombardi averaged 21.5 points per game and 6.5 assists. He tied his career high with 23 points against Seton Hill.
The IUP football team has won the Lambert Cup as the top team in the East in Division II. This is the 12th time IUP has won the award, as Coach Paul Tortorella’s team went 13-1 with a divisional title, a PSAC Championship and a berth in the NCAA semi-finals.
Other winners were Penn State in the FBS, James Madison in the FCS and the College of Brockport in Division III.
