Grant funding is now available for senior care centers in Pennsylvania.
The Department of Aging recently opened the Senior Community Center Grant program for the 2024-25 year. This program provides $2 million in competitive grant funding opportunities for Pennsylvania’s senior community centers. Additionally, $1 million is available in non-competitive award for eligible senior centers that do not apply for the competitive grant.
The purpose is to increase participation and programming across care centers and to attract the ever-growing population of older adults in Pennsylvania.
Applications and materials must be electronically submitted no later than Friday, December 13 at 5 p.m. Additional information can be found on the department’s website.
