It was the Sidney Crosby Show, with a little extra flair from Brian Boyle last night as the Penguins won their sixth straight game.

Coach Mike Sullivan says, like the fans, sometimes he just marvels at the things guys like Crosby can do.
Sullivan says his veteran stars are leading the way as the Penguins keep winning games, even when they are not playing all that well.
Winger Bryan Rust, who buried the shot after Crosby’s spectacular pass last night, says the Pens played better hockey last night and waited for their chances.
Winger Evan Rodrigues says the game was not perfect, but was closer than they’ve been in a while.
Penguins winger Jason Zucker had core muscle surgery yesterday. Zucker has played in only one of the Penguins’ eleven games since the start of the new year. He has six goals and seven assists in 31 games this season. The team placed him on long term injured reserve yesterday and said he is out indefinitely.
Multiple sources report that Penguins assistant general manager Patrick Allvin will be joining former Pens’ GM Jim Rutherford and be named general manager of the Vancouver Canucks.
