A Shelocta man pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver yesterday in Indiana County Court.
Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi announced that 57-year-old Frank Walker of Shelocta entered the plea yesterday. Back on March 21st of last year, the State Police Vice Unit from Greensburg obtained information through a confidential source that Walker was selling drugs in Indiana County. Troopers were able to make a controlled buy utilizing the informant, and Walker sold the informant a mixture of heroin/cocaine and fentanyl.
Walker has a criminal history in Indiana, as he was once picked up for drug possession by Indiana Borough Police in 2017.
Manzi congratulated police on their thorough and professional investigation. After a pre-sentence report is completed by Indiana County’s adult probation office, Walker will be sentenced by Judge Michael Clark on April 11th.
