The Steelers were back at work on the South Side yesterday, including Cam Sutton, who was permitted to practice for the first time since training camp. Sutton was serving an eight-game NFL suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy last March, when he was a member of the Detroit Lions.
Center Zach Frazier returned after missing the last two games with an ankle injury. Linebacker Nick Herbig participated in team stretches but did not practice.
Today at four o’clock is the NFL trade deadline and the Steelers have not made any moves just yet.
As expected, the Steelers re-signed offensive tackle Dylan Cook to their practice squad. He was part of the active roster for the Giants’ game last Monday night.
Coach Mike Tomlin is scheduled to hold his weekly news conference today at noon.
In Monday Night Football, the Chiefs remained the only unbeaten NFL team with a 30-24 overtime win over the Buccaneers.
