Sidney Crosby scored two goals for the second game in a row and the Penguins won for the second straight time, 3-1, over Montreal.
Crosby scored on a wrist shot from the right circle, hitting the upper left corner of the net at 15:57 of the first period to open the scoring. He made it 2-0 at 18:40 of the second period on a power play, rifling a wrister past Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault from the high slot. After Montreal got on the board with a Christian Dvorak goal at 5:32 of the third, Blake Lizotte scored his first goal as a Penguin into an empty net at 19:15 of the game.
At 5-7-1, the Pens will be on the road for their next game, on Tuesday against the New York Islanders.
