The Pirates yesterday claimed outfielder Tristan Gray off waivers from the A’s.
Gray was the Bucs’ 13th round draft choice in 2017 and was traded to Tampa Bay in 2018. Gray has played 17 Major League games with the Rays, Marlins, and A’s, batting .152 with a double, a homer, and one RBI.
Gray played eight games for the A’s last season and was 3-for-21.
