Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi says it’s “wait and see” on the status of quarterback Eli Holstein, who suffered an unspecified injury last Thursday in the Panther’s win over Syracuse. The coach says backup Nate Yarnell will take first-team reps in practice this week but he did not say whether Holstein will also be practicing.
The 18th-ranked Panthers tackle number 20 SMU on Saturday in Dallas.
