In the District 6 Class A playoffs, Northern Cambria took down Glendale in straight sets, 25-17, 25-17, 25-18. Ava Lieb had 10 kills and 11 digs. Riley Olish had 7 kills and 2 blocks. Brenna McCracken served 3 aces, had 9 kills, a block and 6 digs. Emilee Depetro had 5 kills and 5 digs, and setter Kiera Boring had an ace, 10 digs, and 25 assists, including her 1,000th career assist.
The Colts will host Ferndale, a 3-1 winner over Conemaugh Valley, in the semifinal tomorrow night.
In AA, second-seeded West Shamokin takes on Philipsburg-Osceola in the quarterfinals tonight.
