Several sentencing hearings will be held today in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas, including a man facing charges related to an incident at the Indiana County Jail.
27-year-old Jordan Alexander Clayborn was charged with two counts each of aggravated assault-attempt to cause harm to a designated individual, simple assault, harassment and assault by a prisoner against a facility employee for an incident at the Indiana County Jail last July. On January 4th of this year, he entered guilty pleas to the two counts of assault by a prisoner. He will also be sentenced today for a case of possession of a small amount of marijuana for a case on June 22nd of 2021 after he was pulled over by police in White Township.
Cody Allen Sanner is also due for a sentencing hearing today. The 23-year-old man from Glenn Campbell had entered a guilty plea in October of last year to a charge of criminal mischief-damaging property for an incident on December 1st of 2020. He was also facing several arson-related charges but some charges were withdrawn and others were not prosecuted as part of the guilty plea.
Another person due in court today is Karl Palmer of New Florence. He pleaded guilty to indecent exposure for an incident on September 29th of 2020.
The other cases on the schedule are DUI or Drug-related cases.
