The Pirates are down to one vacancy in the front office after yesterday announcing the hiring of Kevin Tenenbaum as vice president of research and development. He’s spent the last seven years in the Cleveland Guardians front office after starting his career as an intern and then employee of the Baltimore Orioles.
Tenenbaum will supervise the Pirates’ analytics. The Bucs still are without a director of pro scouting.
