IUP coach Paul Tortorella sat down with Jack Benedict on Hawk Talk on U92 and on Renda Digital TV last night as the team begins preparations for the annual Coal Bowl game at Cal U.
IUP beat Seton Hill, 20-13, on Saturday to move to 5-2 on the season while Cal throttled sixth-ranked Slippery Rock, 28-7. The Vulcans are 6-1.
Tortorella says Cal is very good.
The coach says Cal’s got a great corps of receivers and running backs, but their quarterback, Davis Black, is special.
The Coal Bowl kicks off at noon on Saturday on U92.
