First responders were dispatched to assist with a medical emergency on Wednesday at the Waste Management landfill in Center Township.
Indiana County 911 reported that both Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire fighters were called out at 3:18 PM to the landfill site on Luciousboro Road for a report of an unresponsive man. The victim was reportedly driving a garbage truck at the time. Citizens Ambulance and medical helicopters were both dispatched to the scene, but the medical helicopter’s response was cancelled later on. The victim was eventually taken to IRMC.
