GIRLS:
Indiana fell to Knoch, 49-41 at the Butler Tournament. Indiana was led by Hannah Scardina with 14 points.
Blairsville trounced PROPEL of Braddock, 81-11, with all nine Bobcats players scoring. Catherine Martin led the way with 17, and Rena Enterline scored 16. The girls will play Mt. Pleasant in the championship today at 7:30.
At the Apollo Ridge tourney, the host team beat Saltsburg, 48-32.
BOYS:
At the Portage Tournament, it will be an all-Heritage Conference championship game. Penns Manor beat Portage, 68-55, with Zack Busovicki scoring 18 points and Tommy Hamilton 12. Meanwhile, United’s Kyle Silk scored 14 and Collin Moore 13 in a 75-60 win over HOPE for Hyndman.
Saltsburg will meet Leechburg for the Apollo Ridge title tonight after the Trojans beat the host school, 53-47. Saltsburg was led by sophomore John Callandrella, with 15 points, and Jake Roman, who scored 13.
Bishop Carroll beat Blairsville, 84-52. The Bobcats were led by Matt Jackson’s 14 points and Mason Emmanuel’s 12.
Ligonier Valley defeated Derry, 67-54. Michael Marinchak scored 27 for the Rams and Marek Paola 23.
