The Pitt Panthers begin a stretch of three games in seven days tonight with a 9 o’clock tipoff against Virginia at the Petersen Events Center. Pitt will play Saturday at Clemson and then will host Syracuse next Tuesday.
The Panthers are 7-10 and 2-4 in the ACC. They’re coming off an upset win over Louisville. Virginia is 10-7 and 4-3 in the ACC.
Pitt led Virginia by four points with 15 seconds remaining in the December 3rd game, but lost, 57-56 as the Cavs’ Jayden Gardner scored five straight points to end the game.
The airtime tonight on WCCS, FM 101.1 and AM 1160, is 8:30 tonight.
