BUCS LOSE COACH TO METS

The Pirates are searching for a replacement for Glen Sherlock, a coach who worked primarily with catchers and with game preparation and management.  Sherlock is leaving the Pirates to become the New York Mets bench coach.  He worked for them previously from 2017 to ’19 and will rejoin new Mets manager Buck Showalter, whom he’s worked with in Arizona and with the Yankees.
