After four seasons as a walk-on at Pitt, senior point guard Onyebuchi Ezeakudo was granted a scholarship for the winter semester by coach Jeff Capel.
Ezeakkudo could have played elsewhere on scholarship, but stayed at Pitt to pursue his degree in bioengineering and play in the ACC. With Pitt challenged at guard this season, he’s played 16 games with three starts and averages 16.9 minutes per game.
Pitt hosts Louisville tomorrow afternoon.
