One person was taken to the hospital after a crash near the 119 Professional Center in White Township.
The crash was reported by Indiana County 911 at 1:05 AM near the business park on Wayne Avenue. Indiana fire association’s rescue squad, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were dispatched at the time. Fire officials say that the two vehicles collided as one was coming out of the Professional Center’s parking lot.
One driver went to IRMC as a precaution. The others involved in the crash were not injured.
Along with the crash at the 119 professional center, there were some other incidents that Indiana County First Responders were called to on Friday.
A second vehicle accident was reported on Route 259 in West Wheatfield township at 2:10 PM. Clyde and Armagh/East Wheatfield Fire Departments were dispatched along with state police from the Indiana Barracks.
The third accident of the day was in Burrell Township on Old William Penn Highway at 2:56 PM. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments, state police and Citizens’ ambulance were called to the scene.
A fourth accident was reported in Derry Township, Westmoreland County at 6:22 PM. Blairsville Firefighters were asked to assist other crews from Westmoreland County on the scene.
Finally, Pine Township Fire Department was called to assist EMT’s at 7:50 PM by setting up a landing zone Tipperary Road in Pine Township.
