Running back Najee Harris did not practice yesterday for the Steelers in their first workout of the week. Harris suffered a right elbow injury last Sunday on the first series of the team’s win over the Ravens but did return to the game in the second half.
The Steelers play the Chiefs in Kansas City Sunday night in the AFC Wild Card playoff round.
Tackle Dan Moore Jr. returned from his ankle injury and was a full participant in practice. Cornerback Arthur Maulet was a limited participant, after being listed in concussion protocol.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says he has emphasized to his young teammates that the Steelers need to play error-free football as much as possible.
The Chiefs scored on their first four possessions and built a 30-0 lead when the two teams played on December 26th. Big Ben says the Steelers will have to be ready to strike back if Kansas City’s offense comes out hot again.
The Chiefs did not report anyone missing practice yesterday.
