The following information was posted on the Indiana Area School District Facebook page shortly before 1:30 pm this afternoon:
Safety Alert: Indiana Area High School – On January 12, 2022, the police were called to the Indiana Area Senior High School to help de-escalate a situation involving a senior high student who was in crisis. The school went into lockdown out of an abundance of caution while this was going on. At no time were other students in danger. As always, we take the safety of our students very seriously. This was a proactive measure.
