The Steelers’ Jaylen Warren did not practice again yesterday, casting doubt on his availability for Sunday’s game at Indianapolis. He has a sore hamstring. Tight end MyCole Pruitt also missed practice, along with linebacker Alex Highsmith, who has a groin injury. Highsmith and Pruitt have already been ruled out for this Sunday.
Strong safety DeShon Elliott and wide receivers Van Jefferson and Roman Wilson were full participants at practice and quarterback Russell Wilson was limited with his bad calf muscle.
Starting guard Isaac Seumalo practiced on Wednesday for the first time in four weeks but was limited again yesterday, and may not play in Indianapolis. Reporter Mark Kaboly of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show yesterday wrote that the Steelers plan to start rookie Mason McCormick over Spencer Anderson in Seumalo’s spot.
Steelers/Colts kicks off at one o’clock on Sunday. Steelers Nation will be there…an analysis of ticket sales shows the crowd in Indy will be at least forty percent Steelers fans. The pregame airs at noon on WDAD.
