After leading IUP to a win at the Hannastown Invitational hosted in Greensburg by West Liberty, IUP’s Alex Swinnerton is the PSAC Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week. The junior was medalist at the 54-hole tourney, shooting two under par and edging Wheeling’s Robin Guzman by one stroke. He had an eagle on the second round.
It’s Swinnerton’s second Athlete of the Week honor this season and the seventh of his career.
IUP won the event by five strokes over Davis & Elkins.
