State police say a Union County man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop along Route 422 in Cherryhill Township on December 31st.
19-year-old Isaiah Isaacson of West Milton was pulled over just west of Metz Road for traffic violations, but the trooper noted the smell of marijuana and multiple indications of criminal activity. Isaacson refused to give permission to search the vehicle so police seized the car and obtained a search warrant, which they executed the next day. They found multiple large plastic bags with a significant amount of marijuana, a thousand dollars cash, a small amount of both suspected THC wax and THC “dab”, plus an assortment of smoking devices.
Isaacson, who was sentenced to six months in prison for drug charges in Union County in June of 2020, is charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and three traffic offenses, including speeding by at least 23 miles per hour over 65 or 70 miles per hour.
A preliminary hearing is pending.
