Indiana Borough Police are investigating an attempted robbery of a convenience store early Saturday morning.
Police say at 2:02 AM, an unidentified individual went into the Sheetz at the corner of 4th and Philadelphia Street. When he approached the register area, he handed a note to an employee demanding cash. He also made his demand verbally. The employee did not give him any money, and he left the store. No one in the store was hurt and others were not alerted to what was going on,

Indiana Borough Police were assisted on scene by State Police and Sheetz Corporate Security. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Indiana Borough Police at 724-349-2121.
