A preliminary hearing is scheduled today for a woman charged with attempted homicide.
60-year-old Mary Elizabeth Stuller of Clarksburg is due before District Judge Christopher Welch today for the hearing on charges connected with an incident on August 3rd. State police were called out to a home on Clarksburg Road in Conemaugh Township around 9:30 AM for a domestic incident. Troopers said that she hit a man in the head with a blunt object, and after he fell to the ground, she continued her assault, including stabbing him. He suffered significant injuries.
On top of attempted homicide, she is charged with attempted aggravated assault with extreme indifference.
