The IUP men dug themselves a big hole in the first half, then climbed out of it in the second as they beat Cal U in their PSAC West opener last night.

After the game, coach Joe Lombardi said that like every team IUP plays, the Vulcans came at them hard from the start, and his guys have to realize that they need to match that intensity. Lombardi says this was a quality win against a quality opponent.

The IUP women remain off the court due to covid 19 protocols. Their games this week and next are postponed.
