One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Homer City late Sunday morning.

Indiana County 911 reported the vehicle accident at 11:58 AM on South Main Street not far from Chestnut Hills Dental. Homer City 2nd Assistant Fire Chief Joe Izzei detailed how the accident happened.
One of the drivers had minor injuries, but they were treated by Citizens Ambulance personnel and released. State police were also on the scene to investigate the crash, but they have not yet released the names of those involved. Both vehicles had severe damage, and one of them had to be towed from the scene.
Main Street was closed for approximately an hour.
