The weather and atmosphere were perfect on Sunday for the 27th annual Hoodlebug Summerfest, hosted on the grounds of the Homer City Volunteer Fire Department.
Festival Chair Penny Perman was thrilled with the turnout from this year’s Summerfest as most food vendors sold out before things wrapped up for the day. She highlighted some of the biggest sellers from the event.
The festival opened with a flag raising at 10:45, followed by a parade at noon. And as attendees visited the many food trucks, they were treated to performances by the Homer-Center Marching Band, Somebody to Love, and the Burg Boys, who performed twice.
