In College Football, the National Championships are set, and the reigning champions will get the chance to defend the title. In the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, Alabama beat Cincinnati 27-6. At the Orange Bowl, University of Georgia beat Michigan 34-11. The two teams will play on January 8th for the national championship.
At the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, Wake Forest beat Rutgers 38-10, and at the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, Central Michigan beat Washington State 24-21.
Today is the busy day for college bowl games, starting at noon with the Outback bowl as Penn State takes on Arkansas. Two games will start at 1:00. They are the Fiesta Bowl with Oklahoma State taking on Notre Dame, and the Citrus Bowl with Iowa taking on Kentucky. At 5:00 is the Grandaddy of all bowl games, the Rose Bowl as Ohio State takes on Utah, and the late night match starts at 8:45 with Baylor taking on Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl.
