Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson is with the team in Atlanta for today’s season opener against the Falcons, but the team has not said whether or not he will play. Wilson aggravated his calf injury on Thursday at practice. He’s listed as “questionable” on the official injury report.
Rookie defensive lineman Logan Lee was placed on injured reserve with a calf injury, ending his season before it began. He was not given the “designated to return” tag.
The Steelers promoted wide receiver Ben Skowronek from the practice squad to the active roster. He was signed last week after being released by the Houston Texans. Skowronek played three seasons with the LA Rams after being drafted in the seventh round in 2021.
Today’s Steelers game will be on WDAD beginning at noon and kicking off at one o’clock.
