CURVE HELD TO ONE RUN IN LOSS TO YARD GOATS

The Altoona Curve lost to the Hartford Yard Goats 6-1 last night.

Anthony Solometo allowed six runs on six hits in one inning to take the loss for Altoona.  After he was chased out in the 2^nd inning, the bullpen responded keeping the Goats off the board for the rest of the game.  Nick Cimillo knocked an RBI-single to score Johnson in the first inning to give the Curve an early lead, but Altoona stranded nine runners on base in the loss and could not bring another run across.

The six-game set continues tonight with Nick Dombkowski starting for the Curve.
