That’s a great way to start a college career! Former Homer-Center star Meegan Williams has been named to this week’s Presidents’ Athletic Conference “PAC Newcomer Honor Roll” for opening the season with two double-doubles.
Williams, an outside hitter for Saint Vincent, had 12 kills and 25 digs against Pitt-Greensburg and 14 kills and 17 digs against Rochester Institute of Technology. Saint Vincent beat UPG and lost to RIT.
Saint Vincent, playing in its own “Bearcat Challenge” followed up with a win over Hollins and a loss to Franciscan. Williams had 3 kills and 11 digs in the Hollins match and 9 kills and 16 digs against Franciscan.
