Members of the Indiana Fire Association were busy on Friday as they responded to four calls for service.
The first was at 1:33 PM for a vehicle accident reported on Oakland Avenue. They were joined by state police and Citizen’s Ambulance. About 45 minutes later, Indiana Firefighters were joined by crews from Creekside, Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire crews, the county Rapid Intervention Team and Indiana Borough Police for a reported structure fire on Nixon Avenue.
A second vehicle accident was reported at 3:11 PM on Carter Avenue in Indiana Borough, and they were joined by borough police and Citizens Ambulance. The final call was for an automatic fire alarm activation on Clairvaux Drive at 6:16 PM.
One other vehicle accident outside of the immediate Indiana area was reported, and that was on Route 403 North in Cherryhill Township. State Police, Citizen’s Ambulance and Cherryhill Township fire crews were called to the scene.
