A Downtown Indiana jewelry store is temporarily closed as crews are cleaning up from a water leak last weekend.
Jeff Widdowson with Luxenberg’s Downtown Indiana location said that a water line break in an apartment above their showroom happened Saturday night and went undetected until Monday morning. Widdowson said that there was a lot of damage to the building, but not the merchandise.
He added that the merchandise has been sent to their Indiana Mall location for now, but that he is looking for a possible temporary location to serve customers downtown. He said that it will be at least six months to clean up, but there will still be some things to look at after cleanup is finished.
Some services are still being offered at the downtown location, but people are advised to call 724-465-2122 before heading up.
