The Homer-Center girls and boys are both taking part in the Richland holiday tournament and they split their two games yesterday. Todd Marino reports
The Wildcats girls will play Richland tonight in the girls championship, while the boys will play a consolation game this afternoon against the host school Richland. The previously unbeaten Rams were knocked off by another Heritage Conference school, West Shamokin, 54-45.
In other girls basketball action, Penns Manor beat Central Cambria, 38-30, at the Central Cambria Tournament. The Comets were led by Sarah Stiteler with 12 points and Deja Gillo with 10. They will pay Portage in the tournament championship game today.
And West Shamokin beat Springdale yesterday, 58 -15.
