On Wednesday night, the White Township Supervisors approved selling three of its vehicles.
The township sold the items through an online auction. A 2008 Chevy Van went for $4,421, and a 2009 Ford Explorer was sold for $5500. But when it came to the sale of a 2010 International dump truck, Anderson said that they gave other municipalities a chance to buy it first.
That higher bid was for $15,100, which was under the original reserve of $20,000.
