Indiana’s boys blanked Obama Academy, 5-0. Russell Crane scored three goals and Tyler Hunter and Grayson Brunetto each scored a goal and had an assist. Tim Birch and Matthew Blystone each had an assist. Charlie Manzi handled the goal keeping in the shutout. Indiana is 3-0.
GOLF
River Valley belted Ferndale, 191-256. The medalist was Jeremy Reed, with an outstanding 33 on the Berkely Hills course. Jake Pynos and Brady Doak each shot 35, Chase Stuchal a 43 and Holden Fridley a 45.
Homer-Center beat Summit Academy by 101 strokes! Brayden Rado was the medalist on the front nine at Chestnut Ridge, with a 38. Marcus Coy fired a 40. Angelo Alexander shot a 43, and both Rado and Alexander had birdies, Rado on the 2nd and Alexander on the 6th.
The Indiana girls overcame the heat and beat Kiski Area by six strokes at the Indiana Country Club. Izzy Slagle got off to a rough start but rebounded with a birdie on six to earn medalist honors with a 53.
