An Indiana man accused of breaking into a store last week in Downtown Indiana is due in court for a preliminary hearing today.
Court documents show that Sonny Matthew Valentin is charged in connection with the burglary at the Piraino-Mohney’s Used Sales store in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street on August 21st. Police say that Valentin broke the glass door, took an item from inside the business, then went back in for more. Police caught him in the store and he was taken into custody after that.
Valentin is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief and has been in Indiana County Jail on $75,000 bail.
