A Clymer man is due in Indiana County Court today for seven sentencing hearings.
44-year-old Randy Bertuzzi will go before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco for cases between 2022 and this year. Charges include trespass, simple assault, criminal contempt, resisting arrest, retail theft, DUI-Controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, all of which he pleaded guilty to. Bertuzzi was picked up by State Police after a chase in mid-April of this year.
Also due in court today for a sentencing hearing is 36-year-old Andrew Rankin of Creekside, who pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver connected with an incident in 2019. Two other counts of possession and single counts of drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communications facility and voluntary manslaughter were not prosecuted.
