Austin Schawl shot a career-best one under par 35 to lead Indiana to a 20-stroke win over Penn Trafford at the Indiana Country Club. Schawl was the medalist, carding three birdies and one double bogey. Gabe Nettleton and Caden Force each shot one over 37, Drew Brocious a 40 and Ryan Bell a 41. Indiana shot a season low 190 in upping its record to 5-2, and 3-1 in Section.
River Valley topped Homer-Center by 40 yesterday, playing the “old course” at Chestnut Ridge. The Panthers were right at 200 on the day, with Jake Pynos leading the way as medalist with a one under 35. He had eight pars and a birdie on number six. For Homer-Center, Marcus Coy again lead the way with a 41, Isaiah McCracken shot a season-blow 45, Brayden Rado a 46, and Angelo Alexander, Reece Coy, and new golfer Wyatt Trexler all shot 54. Noah Turk had a 55.
