Indiana’s boys golfers improved to 3-2 with a 30-stroke win over Punxsy at the Punxsutawney Country Club. Indiana wins it 204-234, with Austin Schawl and Ryan Bell each shooting 39, Chase Force a 41, Caden Force a 42, and Gabe Nettleton and Drew Brocious each shot 43.
Undefeated Armstrong topped the Indiana girls, 170-253, Monday at Kittanning Country Club. Izzy Slagle led Indiana with a 54. Liliana Manzi shot a 56, Bella Donatelli a 69, and Kaylee Cass a 74.
River Valley’s boys dropped a close one to Conemaugh Township, falling by six strokes (202-208). The Indians’ Ben Steinbeck was medalist with a 33. River Valley was led by Jeremy Reed with a 35. Jake Pynos shot a 37, Brady Doak a 41, Chase Stuchal a 46, and Holden Fridley a 49 for the Panthers.
