Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth sat out a second straight practice yesterday due to concussion protocols, and defensive end Chris Wormley was sidelined again with a groin injury. Cornerback Joe Haden returned after having Wednesday off, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger limited his activity.
One new name popped up on the injury report as the Steelers prepare for Sunday afternoon’s key game against Kansas City. Rookie left tackle Dan Moore Jr. was out due to illness.
The Steelers added running back Anthony McFarland, and defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs to the reserve/covid list.
The Chiefs welcomed back from the list two defensive starters, defensive lineman Chris Jones and cornerback Charvarius Ward. Kansas City still has nine players on the active roster on their covid list and three more from their practice squad.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 4:25. It’s on the air on WDAD at 2:25.
