At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, White Township Supervisors appointed manager Chris Anderson as the township’s representative for the proposed Emergency Services Authority.
Anderson will represent District 9 on the authority and will collaborate with other representatives to determine the next steps for the authority. He said now was the right time to appoint a representative.
In other business, Supervisors extended the naming rights for S&T Bank Arena for three years at $40,000 per year. They also honored the Indiana Junior Softball All-Stars for their efforts in the Junior League World Series in Kirkland, Washington. Additionally, proclaimed August 15th as Indiana County Junior League World Series Day.
