WPIAL GIRLS
Two of the top teams in the WPIAL Five-A rankings met last night, and undefeated Moon handed Indiana its first loss of the season, 53-50 in overtime.
Moon’s Reilly Sunday scored 26 points, including her 1,000th career point, and Emma Theodorson had 22. For Indiana, Katie Kovalchick scored 18 and Eve Fiala added 17. Indiana fell to 3-1 while Moon is now 5-0.

United stepped up in class and played Punxsutawney out-of-conference last night, and the Lions downed the Chucks, 45-43. Join Henry was the only player in double figures for united, with 11. Brad Felix had 9.

Congratulations to Marion Center standout runner Lilly Ryer, who has signed a letter of intent to continue her running career at Waynesburg.
