Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco has scheduled Plea Court today for Nicholas Leone, the former firefighter accused of arson in northern Indiana County. The 25-year-old Creekside man is charged with taking part in three arson fires with Dylan Dalessio of Plumville, who this month was sentenced to serve concurrent prisons terms that will total up to fifteen years in prison for the same arson fires and other fires and related crimes.
Leone is charged in connection with fires in Creekside and West Mahoning Township in December 2018 and in West Mahoning Township at an Amish furniture shop the next month.
Plea Court is set for 8:30 AM.
Plea Court is also scheduled for Noah Acosta, a Northern Cambria man charged with drug offenses.
Also in court today, Judge Bianco will conduct a non-jury trial for 66-year-old Steven Joseph Yamrick of Heilwood, who is charged with simple assault and harassment.
Two defendants are scheduled for sentencing:
- 46-year-old April Lee Kovach of Indiana will be sentenced for a guilty plea to felony accessing of a device issued to another without permission. She’d been charged with 27 offenses, including forgery, theft, theft by deception, identity theft, and receiving stolen property.
- 27-year-old Christopher Robinson of Duquesne will be sentenced for felony manufacture possession with intent to deliver, or delivery of a controlled substance.
