A status conference is scheduled today for a man charged with the crash that killed a man in 2023.
24-year-old Reed Thomas Tantlinger is due before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco for the conference today. He faces charges of homicide by vehicle while DUI, fatal accident, two DUI counts, and seven summary traffic counts for the crash on January 7th of 2023 that killed 25-year-old Hunter McCloskey. The crash happened in the Westbound lanes of Route 422 in Pine Township as Tantlinger allegedly rear-ended McCloskey’s vehicle, pushing him into several boulders and a utility pole along the side of the road. Tantlinger fled the scene but was later found at a relative’s house.
A criminal call hearing is also set for September 6th.
