The U.S. Coast Guard is planning to close sections of the three rivers in downtown Pittsburgh during the NFL Draft.
Officials say all boat traffic will be prohibited in the security zone from April 23rd through the 25th. This includes the area between Rivers Casino and the West End Bridge on the Ohio River and from Mile Marker Zero to the Clemente Bridge on the Allegheny. The Mon River will be closed from Mile Marker Zero to the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Boaters will be able to contact the Coast the Guard to ask for permission to pass through, but access will not be guaranteed.
