The Steelers begin their first offseason voluntary workouts today at the Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side. The players will reportedly work out their bodies under the guidance of strength and conditioning coaches Mark Lovat and Grant Thorne, while head coach Mike McCarthy and the rest of the staff work on their minds in the classroom, installing the playbook terminology and the defensive formations.
The “new coach” voluntary minicamp will be April 20th through the 22nd.
